We are happy that now we can provide solar power services to our customers. We will work with you to design and install a solar power system that meets your needs and budget. There are several options with regards to solar power systems. Depending on your goals, we can design a system that feeds power directly into the grid or install and off-grid system for stand alone projects.
I like the approach of having a system that both feeds power into the grid and also charges batteries for those times when power loss may be an issue. We can mount solar panels on your roof or install a stand alone system on your property that can include a sun tracking device that takes full advantage of the path of the sun through the sky.
Looking ahead, I think in the future we will need to be more mindful of being self sufficient when it comes to these types of resources. To me, it is not just about "going green", it is also about being prepared and creating sustainable homes.
Please contact me so we can discuss your needs and design a system that will meet your goals and budget.
We also offer rainwater harvesting. See the article here...
Rain water is one of those resources that literally goes down the drain every time we have a good storm. We can help you harvest this natural resource for all types of uses ranging from landscape watering to flushing toilets. Whether you want to collect 50 or 2,500 gallons we can design a rain water harvesting system to meet your goals and budget.
One of the added benefits to this system that is normally overlooked is the guttering system. Adding leaf catchers to your guttering system not only keeps leaves and debris from your rain water collection system, it also keeps debris out of your underground drains that are all but inaccessible except for “rootering” which can cause damage to drain pipes which are usually a grade of plastic thinner than heavier pipe such as your house plumbing system.
Please contact me so we can discuss your ideas and needs and stop letting your share of the storm go to waste!
We provide as-built drawings of existing buildings. There are many uses for this service, a few which include historic preservation, pre-demolition documentation and pre-construction drawings prior to renovations.
This service can be combined with a home inspection to document pre-existing conditions and square foot areas prior to real estate transactions. We can also provide renderings of elevations of your home for display and preservation. One goal we have with this service is to provide documentation of historic buildings prior to demolition.
We also provide complete photographic documentation of the project. Please contact me if you want to discuss this service.
We are excited about a new service we now have to offer. This service will compliment our solar power services. We can now perform solar site studies to help determine the feasibility of your new photovoltaic project.
We are using the Solar Pathfinder in conjunction with the Solar Pathfinder Assistant software. This software imports information gathered at the site and quickly provides an analysis of the projected efficiency of your solar power system.
There are many uses for this service. The Solar Pathfinder can also be used to layout landscaping, green houses and any other use where site orientation and shading is crucial to the success of your project.

Our main goal is to provide professional design-build services to our clients. We do custom construction and renovation projects. We can perform most of the residential design work in house but if your project requires a licensed architect we will work with the design professional to minimize costs by providing drawing services and leg work to keep design services to a minimum. For custom homes and renovations we do not charge for our design services if we are the general contractor on the project.
We also provide green building technologies such as solar power systems and rain water harvesting. We prefer to use the term sustainable. We have always built homes with long lasting natural building products. Before “green” was a cliché our building standards provided a home that was not only energy efficient but structurally sound. Our homes will not end up in the landfill any time soon.
We will work with you to design the home you dream of while along the way suggesting ideas to make your home more sustainable. Please browse our Projects Section to get an idea of the quality of our work.
